Ripple top manager introduced XRP-based P2P payment platform

Ripple's Product Director Craig DeWitt presented a new Payburner PTP payment platform that uses Ripple digital coin.
The solution is meant for e-commerce and is a non-castodial XRP wallet in the form of a add-on for browsers. Support for Brave and Chrome is enabled for now.
According to the statement, the platform provides "instant global peer-to-peer payments".
Payburner is currently available in beta version. Compared to its previous iteration, it has acquired a number of new features, including:
  • payment by encrypted P2P requests
  • integration of PayID network identifiers
In June, Ripple, together with more than 40 crypto companies joined the Open Payments Coalition, launching PayID, a global payment system.
