Currency.com cancels commissions for BTC deals on Bitcoin Halving Day
Users of Currency.com will trade without commissions on May 12 from 00.00 to 23.59 UTC time. The action involves the following trading pairs of cryptocurrency and fiat money:
BTC/USD, BTC/RUB, BTC/EUR, BTC/BYN;
ETH/BTC, LTC/BTC, BCH/BTC, XRP/BTC.
The exchange will cancel trading commissions, as well as fees for leverage and guaranteed stop-loss. Fees for deposits and withdrawals will remain.
In order to be able to trade commission-free a verified account is required.
Bitcoin Halving will take place on block 630000. After that, the award of miners for adding the block will be reduced by half - from 12.5 BTC to 6.25 BTC. There were two halvings in the bitcoin network, in 2012 and 2016.
