Cryptobroker Voyager has purchased the Circle Invest application
Voyager promises to retain the functionality of Circle Invest app, including the possibility of automatic diversification of the investment portfolio.
Users will be able to trade 34 crypto assets without commission and earn from 2% to 6% p.a. on Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, Bitcoin Cash, VGX native token and USDC, USDT and TUSD stackcoins.
More than 40,000 Circle accounts have been added to the Voyager user base through this new acquisition. Now the total number of the broker's clients exceeds 200,000.
Circle received a 4% stake in Voyager instead.
Earlier Circle acquired the once popular exchange Poloniex in February 2018, presumably for $400 million, planning to develop its business. However, the market share of the exchange fell from a peak of 60% in 2017 to 1%.
Last October, Poloniex separated from Circle and Polo Digital Assets became the new operator, supported by a "large investment group". Subsequently, it turned out that the well-known founder of TRON Justin Sun was involved in this group.
